Even this year take place in october Eat Capone, an event that celebrates the history, the sea village’s culture through the fish symbol of this place: the dolphin fish.
Eat Capone invites tourists and visitors to immerse themselves in a historical and gastronomic itinerary in the heart of Cefalù, a stone’s throw from the cathedral. A veritable Capone village will be set up in via Mandralisca; among tastings, cooking shows, and artistic installations, those present will be guided to the discovery of Cefalù, a small but fascinating village full of quality like the blue fish caught in its waters.
Activities devised by the organisers (fishermen, nutritionists, restaurateurs, etc.) include guided tours to discover ancient fishing methods and traditional fishing boats accompanied by boat trips, guided fishing tourism activities, and conferences attended by journalists, authorities, and gastronomic experts.
