In addition to the beach in which Aura Maris overlooking, Cefalù offers other beaches if you want to explore the surroundings. During the territory exploration, you can spend a day at the seaside in absolute peace and quiet, surrounded by lush nature and bathed by crystal-clear waters.
MAZZAFORNO BEACH
Mazzaforno beach is the one on which our facility is located, a small bay formed by a mix of pebbles and sand. If you love snorkelling, this beach is for you.
Thanks to the presence of numerous submerged rocks in these crystal-clear waters, it is possible to explore the vast and diverse marine fauna.
CALDURA BEACH
A pebble beach overhung by a high cliff, from which, for the brave, it is possible to dive. The beach is free, but you can find dining options. It is 6.5 km from the residence.
SETTEFRATI BEACH
Located 2 km from the residence, this beach is so called because it consists of several rock formations placed in a row emerging from the water.
CAPO PLAYA BEACH
A well-known district a few kilometres from Cefalù, this sandy shoreline is characterised by sand mixed with pebbles and gravel.
Thanks to the strong winds, this beach is perfect for windsurfers and sailors.
SANT’AMBROGIO BEACH
This is a lesser known and therefore less crowded beach, perfect for those who want to enjoy the sea in total relaxation. The waters are clear and transparent. It is located 6 km from Cefalù, in the direction of Messina, and 10.9 km from the Residence.
POLLINA BEACH
One of the largest beaches in Cefalù, with a coastline that extends no less than 11 kilometres. This beach is the ideal destination for those who like to have fun, especially in the evenings, as parties and bonfires are organised here with captivating music.
SALINELLE BEACH
Another popular beach in Cefalù is Salinelle, located 8 km from the town and 5 km from the residence. It is a long stretch of sand with bathing establishments and free areas. It is a perfect beach for windsurfing, spending time with friends and having fun. While the sea is clear, the bottom becomes deep a short distance from the shore, hence it is not recommended for children.
